Food for Thought: Innovating for Hunger & Climate Solutions In-Person

Want to save the world in small but meaningful ways? Engaging with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level & learning how to transfer your academic skills & personal experience to solve big problems can be your first step!

Please join students from CASC 161, Building Impactful Ideas, along with UR & community partners in addressing challenges observed in our community daily—
food insecurity & climate change.

This is a unique opportunity to meet up with fellow students & engage in brainstorming, systems thinking, & idea generation while drawing on the knowledge of expert advisors.

Light refreshments & completion certificates will be provided.

Faculty: Want to encourage your students to engage with the UN SDGs and tackle topics like food insecurity and climate change, perhaps by offering extra credit or another incentive for workshop participation? Please let us know!
