Love Data: 3D Data in VISTA

Love Data: 3D Data in VISTA In-Person

Visit the VISTA in Carlson Library and learn how you can visualize and analyze massively complex data on a supersize screen, managed by the Center for Integrated Research Computing (CIRC). Participants may stream various apps on VR headsets such as Nanome for visualizing 3D molecules or get immersed in 360 videos. The showcase also includes a 3D exploration of the Jarvis dig in Bermuda and simulations of protein structures and dynamics. No prior experience with the technology is required.

This event is part of Love Data Month and is co-hosted by CIRC and UR Libraries. The VISTA Collaboratory is located on the 1st floor of Carlson.
