Wiki Wednesdays with Rare Books: Black History Month In-Person
Join River Campus Libraries on the third Wednesday of each month for “Wiki Wednesdays with Rare Books.” Participants will have the opportunity to make “live” edits to Wikipedia, the world’s 7th most popular website – no prior experience required, training will be provided!
The goals of these events are to:
- Increase RBSCP's presence on Wikipedia by adding links to relevant finding aids and collections
- Develop content for underrepresented topics, groups, and individuals to broaden global knowledge
- Promote Wikipedia editing amongst members of the University of Rochester community
Each event will be centered around an annual month-long observance. This month's event will be focused on Black History Month.
Light refreshments will be served. No prior experience necessary. Bring a friend!
