Introduction to Zotero Online
If you have struggled with organizing research articles and books, taking notes on pdfs, or citing your research when you're writing a paper, Zotero is a reference management system that helps you organize, take notes, and create accurate citations while you write in Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
This online workshop will introduce participants to Zotero, a free, powerful reference manager tool. By the end of the session, participants will:
- understand what reference management systems do
- how to install and create an account
- how to add and edit references in Zotero in multiple ways
- how to create citations in MS word and Google docs using the Zotero plugin
- how to annotate pdfs within Zotero
