Studio X XR Research Expo In-Person

Studio X is excited to present its XR Research Expo! Join us for a day that showcases the latest XR research and advancements across disciplines at the University of Rochester and the broader Rochester community. Learn more from colleagues, identify collaboration points, and network with researchers across disciplines. This event is also a great opportunity for students to become acquainted with research groups and future opportunities. 

Attendees will be able to try a range of Studio X equipment during this time, including headsets from Meta, Microsoft, HTC, and Varjo.

Schedule:

  • 1:30–1:45 pm. Opening remarks
  • 1:45–2:30 pm. Lightning Talks—an opportunity to deliver a concise two to five-minute slideshow presentation of your research
  • 2:30–3:30pm. Tabling & Tech Demos—an interactive segment (e.g., poster presentation or demo) that provides a platform to showcase your work and a space for conversation
  • 3:30–4pm. Closing remarks
