NACE Career Readiness Fellows Program Watch party In-Person

This 3-session series will give your faculty and/or staff a career competency lens and confidence in offering career advice to their students. They'll learn to infuse career thinking into the curriculum and core experiences to support career success and greater economic mobility for students.

Learning Outcomes of the program:

  • Understand the why behind NACE’s focus on Career Readiness Competencies and how this strategy can create a more equitable career preparation model
  • Align career competencies into their curriculum, course materials, workshops, events, or student experiences
  • Learn a variety of methods for making the NACE competency focus explicit to students
  • Explore and select how to give students practice articulating competency development in a work-relevant way
  • Explore work-based learning and employer engagement options for your course activities and student engagement experiences
  • Develop assignments/projects/experiences that integrate a disciplinary perspective on the world of work, the experience of work, and career development related to the target courses and experiences
  • Explore the NACE competency assessment tool and learn how it can support and measure student competency development
