Share Something/Learn Something Prompt:

Learning Outcome: Students will deepen their understanding of a career-related skill and how that knowledge is transferable by teaching it to others and facilitating meaningful discussion. Students will not only share knowledge, but also help their peers apply and reflect on the skill. 

Task: Design and lead a 10-minute Career Related Skills Presentation + Discussion (10 minutes per student) that includes: 

1. A focused presentation on a career path skill 

2. A guided discussion or interactive activity that helps your peers engage with and apply the skill 

Your goal is for classmates to leave with both new knowledge and a clearer sense of how to use it. 

Format & Timing: (10 minutes total) 

• Introduction (30–60 seconds): What you are teaching and why/how it matters 
• Main content (3-4 minutes): Explain the skill (e.g. key tips, steps, or demonstration)
• Discussion/Activity (4–5 minutes): Engage peers in applying or reflecting on the skill (e.g. Quick activity, question, or example scenario, etc).
• Wrap-Up (30–60 seconds): Reinforce key takeaway(s)
