New York Federal Statistical Research Data Center Information Session In-Person
The New York Federal Statistical Research Data Center (NYRDC) is part of the Federal Statistical Research Data Center Network.
The Federal Statistical Research Data Centers are partnerships between federal statistical agencies and leading research institutions. There are currently 29 Federal Statistical Research Data Center (RDC) locations. The RDCs are secure facilities managed by the Census Bureau that provide access to a range of restricted-use microdata for statistical purposes only. Researchers must have an approved project before conducting research at an RDC.
The NYRDC operates three labs, one at Baruch College-CUNY, one at Cornell University as part of CISER (Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research), and one at Yale University.
At this information session representatives from CISER will share information about the NYRDC, the kinds of research it supports, the process involved in gaining access to the Data Center, and have opportunities to speak directly with center staff about your projects and question.
For information regarding data available through the RDCs, visit http://www.census.gov/about/adrm/fsrdc/about.html.
