Zotero for Public Health In-Person
Zotero is an open-source program that creates and organizes citations/references from websites, library databases, and more. It has integrations in web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and word processing programs (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), which allows you to easily insert in-text citations and will automatically create your reference list using whichever citation style you prefer.
In this workshop Stephanie Barrett, the PH librarian, will go through how to create references from websites such as the CDC and the WHO, the library website, and databases such as PubMed. Then she’ll go through creating in-text citations and a bibliography/referenced cited list with the touch of a button
