ArcGIS Online/Story Maps Workshop

ArcGIS Online/Story Maps Workshop Online

In this workshop you will learn how to create data driven ArcGIS Online maps utilizing census data, and how to access those maps when creating a Story Map.  This will reference topics covered in the Census Data workshop held on October 16, 2020 but can be taken on it’s own as well.

This event is a part of workshops organized by the River Campus Libraries leading up to a competition on GIS Day - November 18, 2020!

“GIS Day” is an annual international event with the goal of spreading awareness about Geographic Information Systems, mapping, and spatial thinking. This year, RCL’s ESRI “Story Map” competition is centered on the topic of the 2020 census. All participants that submit a Story Map to the competition will receive a GIS Day Participation Certificate and winner(s) will also get an RCL water bottle. For more information about the competition go to https://dslab.lib.rochester.edu/gis-day-2020/.
