Understanding Creative Commons (CC) Licenses

Understanding Creative Commons (CC) Licenses Online

Creative Commons (CC) licenses give everyone from individual creators to large institutions a standardized way to grant the public permission to use their creative work under copyright law.

In this workshop, led by UR's Scholarly Communications Librarian Moriana Garcia, you'll learn more about the six different CC licenses and what they mean, as well as how to assign and display these licenses on individual works.

The prime content of his workshop will be presented from 10-11 am. Additional hands-on time will occur from 11-11:30 am.
