Renewable Assignment Design Online

As part of the author series from Open Pedagogy Approaches: Faculty, Library, and Student Collaborations, you are invited to discover different ways in which faculty, library staff, and students work together to engage and enrich the learning process.

In this workshop, authors Stacy Katz and Jennifer Van Allen (Lehman College) will share their work from the chapter, Evolving into the Open: A Framework for Collaborative Design of Renewable Assignments.

Following, University of Rochester Biology professor, Dr. Jonathan Holz, and Biology Librarian, Moriana Garcia, will present their collaboration to establish an Open Stax textbook as  the required book for a Physiology course. Additionally, they are empowering students to improve upon the OER by finding and incorporating openly licensed images, graphics, and videos.

Participants will receive a zoom link to the event once they have registered.
