You’ve Created It. Now License It. Get Funds to Make Your Instructional Materials Open In-Person / Online

Learn how to transform existing materials into open educational resources (OER)—making them digitally available and modifiable—while reserving author rights.

In this workshop, librarians representing the River Campus Libraries Open Education Grant Program will guide you through the process of openly sharing your instructional materials (e.g., syllabi, course handouts, recorded tutorials, problem sets). As part of this, presenters will clarify what permissions are offered by the different levels of Creative Commons licenses.

By participating in this workshop, you will be eligible for a Tier 1 or 2 grant (up to $800) to make your educational materials more open and accessible.

Please register for in-person attendance or to gain access to the Zoom link if attending virtually.
